Vampire Values

Victoria the Vampire was a vegetarian
and vegetarian is very difficult
for a vampire to be.

Even so,
visionary and virtuous,
Victoria valiantly avoided veins,
vanquished her vices
via vicodin and valium
availing herself of virtually every variety
of creative alternative,
even vitamins.

Victoria vilified vivisection
and vociferously voiced vehement views
that vampires
having longer lives
having larger world-views
and clearly being advantaged over human bovines
must stop eviscerating
the poor vapid creatures.

But every time Victoria vocalized these views
“Values Vampires” volleyed invective.
Some even leveled grievances,
kavetched to the Vault-Owner’s association,
vowed Victoria’s human rights flag
violated Vault-Owner’s covenants.

After much palaver and investigation,
civic governance
and various venomous vault-owners
forced Victoria to remove
what they called her vituperative railings.
Apparently Old Gory
was virtually the only flag
vault-owner covenants
vouchsafed for the vault.

Victoria was visibly vexed.

The vanquished vampire vowed revenge
and though Victoria reviled violence,
she was not above vengeance
and vacillated between vigilantism
and vilifying the values vampires.
When would vampires eventually evolve!?!

Victoria vigorously investigated the values vampires,
uncovered various vices --
teetotalers voraciously vying for drug-addled vagabonds,
atheists cross-dressing in vibrant vestments,
vampire deviants inside the Vatican…
Victoria videotaped a variety of vile situations
and unveiled the videos
via Boo-Tube.

The values vampires were verklempt,
revealed as vile varmints,
reviled as vamp perverts,
the values vampires were vigorously voted out,
evicted from the vampire vault.

Victoria was vindicated.
Buwahahahaha!
That’ll teach ‘em.
